Gerry say, “Here are three sure signs summer is here.”

Other than the wonderful fan in my bedroom, I’ve noticed that it has turned into summer.  Mom hasn’t stopped teaching yet, but there are other signs:

#1   Mom took me to a farmer’s market, that I have to sit in the car for!  We always go for a walk before or after, and she always gets me something good.  No dogs?  No fair!

#2  I got a bath!  See how thrilled I am.

and #3  I’m all set for the holiday!

And now, back to my surveying the backyard.

About danielle

I am a rescue mom and school teacher. Gerry came to me from Texas, after he "failed" as a hunting dog. He had NOT had an easy life. I was three years divorced, and we saved each other. Last week I learned he has osteosarcoma. Our world feels upside down...while everyone else is right side up.

    Hey Mister Patriotic!

We also wish all farmer’s markets would let doggies inside. Some do, some don’t. It makes no sense to us. I mean, lots of food grows in animal poop, what are they afraid of? A little dog fur? Sheesh. Looks like a good market though, I see why your Momma goes even if you have to stay put.

Enjoy the fourth, you sure look snazzy and ready for a pawrade!

Ohhhh myyyy goodness!! That “stink-eye” look expresses perfectly how you feel about a bath!!! You are soooo darn cute and I love EVERY picture we get to see if you!

And yes, you are very stylish in your colorful scarf and “jewelry”!

And you quite a comfy “viewing stand” so you can help protect your backyard!

You are a very, very loved boy and we all adore you! I think you already know that though. That’s why you picked your Mom! 🙂

Lots of love sweet boy! We’re cheering for you! 🙂

Sally and Alumni Happy Hannah and Merry Myrtle and Frankie too!

Mom made that necklace when I lost the healing stone that my neighbor Cait gave me. Mom minored in jewelry design/fine arts in college while earning her BA in English. It took her completely by surprise when she got the letter saying she’d (inadvertently) minored in FA at Hofstra University, on Long Island. She went from RHODE Island to LONG Island than back to RI and on to Manhattan island! (This was all WAY before me. Mom only used to daydream about having a dog of her own some day.)
