Just take a LOOK at the smile this picture captured, by Kathleen, the owner of Leashes, my dog walkers. She took it of Gerry on the rail trail behind my house. It’s his normal walk with them, and he’s just been allowed to go on short walk/runs with them. They come 3 days a week, mid-day, and he has perked up each and every time they visited, even if they could only stay in the yard with him. Today was a blissful, beautiful fall day with sun and perfect temperatures. I’m so lucky that he had such a great day!
Now that’s the definition of “grinning ear to ear”! Look at that happy, happy boy!
Gerry reminds us of why we do the things we do to give our dogs quality time. This picture of Gerry today is his way of saying “Thank you!”
