All animals mourn…

In my mind, wolves feel the spirits of all departed canines, and certainly their pack members.  Howling for all.

I am a rescue mom and school teacher. Gerry came to me from Texas, after he "failed" as a hunting dog. He had NOT had an easy life. I was three years divorced, and we saved each other. Last week I learned he has osteosarcoma. Our world feels upside down...while everyone else is right side up.

    All animals DO mourn. I have been there too many times. After Rosie died, Charlie went downhill and the cats spent afternoons looking for the dog that never paid them any attention. After Gazoo died, Molly walked the house crying until she passed away not long after. We all mourn..
