I am a rescue mom and school teacher. Gerry came to me from Texas, after he "failed" as a hunting dog. He had NOT had an easy life. I was three years divorced, and we saved each other. Last week I learned he has osteosarcoma. Our world feels upside down...while everyone else is right side up.

I recognized him even before they said his name, and then I saw you kneeling down by him. What a precious memory. Hang in there, summer is coming and you and Boo will have many adventures.

I don’t know! I’ll have to look. I imagine it could be possible. She had a practice locally, but sadly moved to Norwalk, CT. The whole hospital shut down, although I am still in touch with one of the oncology nurses. On a bittersweet note, Gerry was one of her last patients here in NY. He and I were blessed to have her until the end.
