Sleepy boy…

Gerry hopes you all have a holiday of happiness tomorrow.  Eat enough turkey to take a nap.  (He loved this couch at my parents house and would fall asleep in the corner all the time.  I am SO going to miss him… being at my parents house without me.  Six years of memories await…

About danielle

I am a rescue mom and school teacher. Gerry came to me from Texas, after he "failed" as a hunting dog. He had NOT had an easy life. I was three years divorced, and we saved each other. Last week I learned he has osteosarcoma. Our world feels upside down...while everyone else is right side up.

Be safe in your travels and enjoy your parents. Mine are too far away to be with. May you have a wonderful dinner and lots of the good memories to make you smile. I know this will be hard, I am glad your parents will be there for you.
    Big hugs,
    Jackie

Awww, such a sweet, sweet memory.
Not sure if this feels “right” or not, but how about taking a photo with you…lrop yourself right up on Jerry’s spot on the sofa and take a picture. IF it feels right, we’d love to see it AND hear if you felt in his presence that day, or got sny signs. Maybe your Mom’s dog will show you a “sign”. Pay attention.

    Lots of love
Auntie Sally and Alumni Happy Hannah and Merry Myrtle and Frankie too!

Oh, I’m sure I’ll sit there. I’m sitting next to him in the photo, but can barely be seen. Have a wonderful holiday today! Thank you for your messages!

Awwww sweet Angel Gerry! I know you were watching over the humans on Turkey Day and having your own great feast in doggie heaven with all your buddies.

Danielle I hope you were able to feel Gerry’s presence with the family on Thanksgiving. I have no doubt he was there in spirit with everyone who loved him most in this world.
